Marvel Legends Series 4 Action Figure Gambit
In my opinion, this is great for the X-men fan or collector. He is very poseable and durable. And, his likeness to the comic book character is dead on. However, the character is far from a “legend” in my mind. They could have put a better character in this series. He’s not near as interesting as some of the other X-men heroes or villians. Also, the staff that comes with the figure is too short and doesn’t fit in his hands very well at all. The staff is also all warped from being jammed into the package during production. On that same note, the charged-up cards don’t fit in his hands that well, either. In fact, his hands are sculpted in such a way that not much of anything will fit in there. And, the hand joints are too loose for him to hold on to anything tightly. They should have just given him fists or something. His jacket is pretty shabby looking. You are better off trashing that because it doesn’t added to the character’s appearance–unless you iron it and starch the heck out of it. The jacket from the 5-pack is better. It looks like leather and doesn’t look like a rag.
GAMBIT IS A PRETTY COOL TOY BUT HIS METAL STAFF ACESSORY USUALY ENDS UP KIND OF BENT DUE TO PACKAGING SHIPMENT . I REALLY LIKE GAMBITS BACKROUND STAND UP I BELIEVE ITS A SENTIENEL JUNKYARD . IM A LARGE FAN OF THE OLD X MEN BOOKS AND I DONT KNOW WHAT GAMBIT LOOKED LIKE ORIGANALY BUT IM SURE THIS NEW ONE CLOSELY RESEMBLES HIM.OVERALL THIS IS A NICE ACTION FIGURE
I like this toy, it was the first of the line I got. I’t’s fun to play with and that’s why I rated this way
I got this toy about 2 weeks ago. I think that it is great. It is “Super Poseable” due to the many points of articulation. It comes with a limited edition GAMBIT comic book which consists of I think 32 pages. Gambit comes with those fiery cards which he uses with his mutant powers. He also comes with a platform which looks like a junkyard. It is very cool. BUY IT…NOW!!!!!
This toy is great any X-men fan would buy it. Its very flexible and is very detailed. It comes with enrgized playing cards a staff and a coat made out of fabric. For me I never get bored with it but if you do you can read the comic book that comes with it free! even if your not a X-men fan you should buy it anyway.
