Marvel Legends Series 9 Action Figure 1st Appearance Gray Hulk

finaly a great action figure. iv been waiting for a decent hulk scince i got the one in the first series. i really think that they should of added a base with him but a galactacus arm is fine. i really hope this was helpful
(thanks)
At first I was a little suspicious of a 1st appearance Hulk because I thought it wouldn’t fit in with my other Marvel Legends. But this Hulk is truly incredible. The articulation is excellent and he is truly behemoth. This is a figure that can go one on one with the Juggernaut and turn around and pound some puny humans.
I own over 25 marvel legends figures and follow the series closly. I have grey hulk from the galactus series. Up top it shows him with a base. I don’t know if this really exists, because I’ve never seen it. If I had a choise between the figure shown above or the figure that I own I would take the one above, beacuse I hated the idea of haveing to get every figure in the galactus series just to put him together. Added to the fact that they take away the base and that it comes with stupid people like Deathlock. It’s because he sucks that I don’t have all of galactus.
The figure’s big and almost as big as Juggernaut. I saw the varient green hulk, but I was stupid and didn’t get it. This hulk; even grey is better than the series one marvel legends. That one just plan sucked. I like this figure the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was beacuse it came with the arm of galactus.
Wow! Kudos to Marvel and Toy Biz for coming out with a Gray Hulk figure. They didn’t just take a hulk figure and paint him gray, but the figure was scuplted to look just like the Hulk from the very first issue of the Hulk back in 1962 as drawn by the legendary Jack Kirby. This figure is shorter, a bit squat, and has that Frankenstein Monster-like flat head, and even the lower brow and heavier eye brows. Very nice touch there. The articulation is very good and it poses quite well. I love the bursting fire hydrant. Nice salute back to the Hulk’s silver-age roots.
This is an exceptional Hulk figure. The sculpt is new and the articulation is quite good for an action figure of this size. And, it is a BIG figure! He’s just as big as the Juggernaut figure from Series 6. All the joints were tight and well concealed. The paint job is OK, but the darker shaded areas are done with green rather than a darker grey color. I would think that if an action figure is going to be called “1st Appearance Grey Hulk”, they would use shades of grey to color it. Maybe not. Whatever, I guess. This figure comes with the very first issue of the Incredible Hulk where Hulk is actually grey instead of green. Kind of cool. This figure is part of the Galactus Series (or Series 9). Which means that instead of getting a wall mountable display base, you get a piece of Galactus’ huge 16 inch body. I know that the Amazon.com picture shows him with a display base, but you don’t get one. This is where that “our prodcuts may differ from what is shown on the package” statement comes in. When you get all 7 figures in this series, the pieces can be joined together to make the 8th figure in the series–Galactus, Devourer of Worlds and arch nemesis of the Fantastic Four. A shrewd marketing technique by ToyBiz. Everyone will surely buy all the figures in order to get Galactus. He truly does look amazing when he is assembled. There is also a green, variant version of this figure available that is also very nice, but also very hard to find. He comes with a different head sculpt and the classic, purple pants. If you can find him, great! If you can’t, don’t worry about it. This grey version is just as good and is very durable. I highly recommend this figure and would definitely buy another if I had to. He is well stocked, so finding him will not be a problem. An excellent buy for the money.
