McFarlane: NFL Ultimate Team Set – Denver Broncos Offense
My 5 yr old son loves playing with these figures. They are a little small (army men size) but have details (names & numbers) on them. Be careful getting them out of the plastic packaging. We own a similar toy for college players and I think those are more durable (thicker, bigger players). Also, the college version comes with a realistic green fabric field (field has yardage lines & end zone decorations) and plastic goalposts, so you have something to play on. Not sure he would enjoy the pro players as much if we didn’t already have the field & goalposts to set them up on.
We purchased these for our six-year-old son for Christmas along with the “Football Guys.” Half of the Bronco team is on “injury reserve” because of broken body parts. These are great to look at, but too easy to break to be given to kids as toys. Our son loves to play football on the floor using little men or even cars as team members. He takes good care of this “teams,” but these are just too easy to break. We recommend the “Football Guys” instead.
